Twenty-year-old pop-soul artist, Delia Jane, is ready to take matters in her own hands. Hailing from an idle suburbia, the New-York-raised songstress crafts a sonic landscape that deviates from her pedestrian upbringing. Her lead single, “Wanted”, is an uptempo jazz-pop effort that combines Delia’s smooth, effortless tone over pounding drums and an effusive brass band. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic array of soul and jazz singers, Etta James, Corinne Bailey Rae, Norah Jones among others, Delia’s songs explore a symbiotic relationship between current modernity and rough relics of the past. With her unique style and multi-instrument capabilities, Delia Jane will make a splash this winter with her musical project debut, The New Love EP.
